Eater Boston is reporting that Project 202 is planning to open on Washington Street, moving into the space where another dining spot that was to be called Green Bistro--then Alere--had been hoping to call its home (those plans have apparently fallen through). The article says that the place will be a "whole animal" restaurant and provisions shop that will focus on both sustainability and traceability, with former Washington Square Tavern alum Chris Cronin involved with the spot.
It is not yet known when Project 202 might open, other than the fact that the restaurant says it is "coming soon."
The address for this upcoming restaurant and provisions shop in Brookline Village is: Project 202, 202 Washington Street, Brookline, MA, 02445. Its Twitter page can be found at https://twitter.com/project__202
