Eater Boston is reporting (via a licensing board page within the city of Boston site) that Sixth Gear is planning to open on L Street, taking over the spot that had been home to Sauce, and before that, Wolfie's Kitchen And Bar and Kelly's Landing. Based on the hearing page, it appears that the new place will have one room for dining along with a bar with seating for 10, with the spot hoping to have a closing time of 1:00 AM. Little other information on Sixth Gear is available at this point in time; as soon as we find out more, we will post an update here.
