Comella's in East Arlington Closes Today

A location of a local group of Italian dining spots and caterers is getting ready to shut down for good.

According to a source, Comella's in East Arlington is closing at the end of business hours today, with a call to another location confirming this news. The Mass. Ave. eatery first opened in early 2011, offering such items as ravioli, lasagna, gnocchi, chicken alfredo, shrimp scampi, and "family messes," or mystery dishes. Other locations of Comella's remain open, including outlets in Belmont, Chestnut Hill, Concord, Marblehead, Melrose, Natick, Needham, Wellesley, West Newton, West Roxbury, and Westwood. (New shops in Bedford and Hingham are also going to be opening soon.)
