Oggi Gourmet in Cambridge's Harvard Square Is Temporarily Moving to Finale Space

A Cambridge dining spot that is known for its pizza is moving to a temporary location while its current home undergoes extensive renovations.

According to a license commission general hearing agenda page, Oggi Gourmet in Harvard Square has alerted the city that it plans to leave its space within the Smith Campus Center (formerly the Holyoke Center) and reopen in what appears to be the former Finale site at 30 Dunster Street about 50 feet south of its current space (Finale shut its doors in December). The move stems from major construction that will be taking place at the Smith Center, which is also causing Clover to move from its space within the building to a new home around the corner on Mass. Ave. where the Chinese restaurant Yenching had been. Based on the information given in the hearing page, Oggi is looking to move to the Finale space a week from this weekend and remain there until September of 2018.

In addition to pizza, Oggi also offers salads, burgers, coffee, tea, and more. Its website can be found at http://www.oggigourmet.com/

[March 30 update: According to a poster on the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page, Oggi is now open in the former Finale space (and she says it is hidden by construction fencing), with @IvanLevingston of The Harvard Crimson confirming that it has indeed opened in its new--and presumably temporary--space.]
