Capri Pizza in Arlington Heights Has Reopened

A pizzeria in the northwest suburbs of Boston that mysteriously closed last month is open once again.

According to a Twitter post sent this afternoon, Capri Pizza in Arlington Heights has reopened, with a phone call to the place confirming that it indeed opened back up today. It is not yet known if the most recent owners reopened the Mass. Ave. shop or if the owners before them did (or if it is a combination of both); as soon as we confirm the exact ownership of the place, we will post an update here.

As mentioned here in an earlier article, Capri shut its doors and went dark in early March, with no one seeming to know what may have happened to the place. Later in the month it was reported that the family that had previously owned the pizzeria was apparently offering its help in reopening the shop, according to the daughter of the previous owners.

Capri first opened in the early 1990s, taking over the former Charlie's Pizza space; it is known in part for its Italian thin-crust pizza.

The address for Capri Pizza is 1323 Massachusetts Avenue, Arlington, MA, 02476.
