Griddler's Burgers and Dogs Has Closed Its Beacon Hill Location

A pair of Boston dining spots featuring hamburgers and hot dogs is now down to one location (for now), as its original shop has shut down.

According to an article in the Patch, Griddler's Burgers and Dogs in the city's Beacon Hill neighborhood is now closed, with the post saying that the lease on the Cambridge Street eatery expired. The Patch does say that the Boston Nightlife Ventures (BNV), which runs the dining spot, will be looking to expand the Griddler's brand, and that the shop on Boylston Street across from Boston Common remains in operation.

Griddler's first opened on Cambridge Street in December of 2011, taking over the space where The Federal had once been. The Federal had also been owned by BNV, which currently operates The Tap Trailhouse and Wink & Nod in Boston, and Southern Kin in Somerville.

The address for the now-closed Griddler's Burgers and Dogs in Beacon Hill was 204 Cambridge Street, Boston, MA, 02114. The website for its remaining location is at http://griddlersburgers.com/
