Lucky Strike Plans to Open at Somerville's Assembly Row

It looks like a small chain of bowling alleys that also features food, drink, and entertainment may be coming to a growing development in Somerville.

According to a source, Lucky Strike is planning to open at Assembly Row, apparently coming to the part of the complex that will also be home to a location of Mike's Pastry Shop. (As reported earlier, Mike's is coming to the new Partners HealthCare building, which is part of Phase II of the Assembly Row development.) A check on the Bizapedia site indicates that Lucky Strike has indeed set up a Limited-Liability Company called "Lucky Strike Somerville, LLC," which was filed on September 16, though an exact address for the business itself has not been given.

Lucky Strike has more than 20 locations around the country, including one behind Fenway Park in Boston. The only other locations in the Northeast are all in New York--Albany, Manhattan, and West Nyack.

The website for Lucky Strike can be found at http://www.bowlluckystrike.com/

[December 12, 2017 update: According to a Facebook post, Lucky Strike plans to open in 2018, while a Craigslist job post seems to indicate that it could be opening early in the year, as the place is currently hiring an Assistant General Manager (and the post actually says it hopes to open in 2017).]
