Lucky Strike Plans to Open at Somerville's Assembly Row

It looks like a small chain of bowling alleys that also features food, drink, and entertainment may be coming to a growing development in Somerville.

According to a source, Lucky Strike is planning to open at Assembly Row, apparently coming to the part of the complex that will also be home to a location of Mike's Pastry Shop. (As reported earlier, Mike's is coming to the new Partners HealthCare building, which is part of Phase II of the Assembly Row development.) A check on the Bizapedia site indicates that Lucky Strike has indeed set up a Limited-Liability Company called "Lucky Strike Somerville, LLC," which was filed on September 16, though an exact address for the business itself has not been given.

Lucky Strike has more than 20 locations around the country, including one behind Fenway Park in Boston. The only other locations in the Northeast are all in New York--Albany, Manhattan, and West Nyack.

The website for Lucky Strike can be found at http://www.bowlluckystrike.com/

[March 6, 2018 update: According to a Craigslist job post, Lucky Strike will open this spring and that it will be another location of its Lucky Strike Social concept, which features bowling, food, live music, and arcade gaming.]

[April 9, 2018 update: A events page hints that Lucky Strike Social appears to be on the verge of opening at Assembly Row, as a VIP Launch Party takes place there on Thursday, April 12.]
