Bobby's Burger Palace in Burlington Has Closed

A local burger spot that a celebrity chef and Food Network personality opened four years ago has very quietly closed.

According to a source, Bobby's Burger Palace at the Burlington Mall in Burlington is locked up with the windows papered over, with a post from Burlington Cable Access Television confirming that it has indeed shut down, saying that the Burlington Mall website mentions it closed for good on Wednesday. It is not known why the dining spot closed, nor is it known what might go into its space; as soon as we find out more, we will post an update here.

Bobby Flay is behind the Bobby's Burger Palace chain, which opened its Burlington outlet in January of 2013; a total of 17 locations can be found mostly on the East Coast, including one at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut.

The website for Bobby's Burger Palace can be found at http://www.bobbysburgerpalace.com/
