According to a source within the restaurant industry, Chilacates on Amory Street is planning to open in the space on Centre Street where Pink Samurai had briefly been, and it will be increasing the size of its current space as well. We have also been told that a third location could be in the works for Dedham, but this has not been confirmed as of yet.
Chilacates first opened in the summer of 2015, offering such items as burritos, tacos, quesadillas, and tortas. Pink Samurai, whose plans were first announced in the summer of 2015 as well, never really got off the ground, opening very briefly in September of this year before shutting right down again.
The address for the original location of Chilacates is 224 Amory Street, while the address for the upcoming location is 658 Centre Street.
