Kaki Lima to Take Over Wink and Nod Space in Boston's South End

A pop-up restaurant that features Indonesian food is going to be moving into a temporary home in Boston's South End in a couple of months.

Boston Magazine is reporting that Kaki Lima will be opening within the Wink & Nod space on Appleton Street on March 20, taking over the spot where the Nepalese eatery Gita currently is until this week, and where Little Owl Tavern will be from January 30 until March. Kaki Lima has been both a media and industry favorite since starting out in 2014, with Chef Retno Pratiwi and her husband Peter Gelling having pop-ups at such places as Tavern Road in Boston's Fort Point, KO Pies at the Shipyard in East Boston, and Honey Paw in Portland, ME.

Wink & Nod is a culinary incubator run by Boston Nightlife Ventures that features ongoing pop-ups from different businesses. Its address is 3 Appleton Street, Boston, MA, 02116, while its website can be found at http://winkandnod.com/

[March 20 update: According to a post on its website, Kaki Lima moves into the Wink & Nod space today.]
