Spring Street Cafe in West Roxbury Has Closed

A restaurant featuring Italian and American fare has apparently shut its doors for good after more than a decade in business.

According to a couple of sources, Spring Street Cafe in West Roxbury is no longer in operation, with posts on its Facebook page seeming to confirm this. The dining spot offered breakfast items such as waffles, pancakes, French toast, and eggs, while also serving such items as burgers, gnocchi, chicken broccoli and ziti, linguine, shrimp scampi, chicken parmigiana, and baked haddock for lunch and dinner.

As soon as we find out what might happen to the Spring Street Cafe space, we will post an update here.

The address for this now-closed restaurant in West Roxbury was: Spring Street Cafe, 320 Spring Street, West Roxbury, MA, 02132.

[March 22 update: According to a source on the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page, Spring Street Cafe is actually hoping to reopen in a new space--possibly in Dedham--with another Facebook post on the Chronicles of West Roxbury II page seeming to confirm this, saying that they plan to open back up in September. And while there is chatter as to where they might move, no confirmation has been given as of yet, so keep checking back for more updates.]
