Jack's Abby Opening Track Zero Taproom at North Station/TD Garden

by Marc Hurwitz

A new taproom is on its way to Boston's North Station/TD Garden area, and a familiar name is behind it.

According to a press release, Jack's Abby Craft Lagers is opening Track Zero Taproom, which will take over the train bar (also known as the North Station Bar) on the platform at North Station, with the space including 10 tap lines offering beers from both Jack's Abby and Springdale (which is affiliated with Jack's Abby and is located in the same Framingham facility). The release mentions that the new drinking spot will gradually take over the space and is expected to debut this winter.

Jack's Abby was also in the news last week, as a bakery may be coming to its facility, supplying the restaurant there while also possibly being open to the public as a retail outlet at some point.

[April 3, 2019 update: A new press release states that Track Zero Taproom is now open on the platform at North Station, with the 32-seat spot including a 28-foot bar and--as mentioned above--10 tap lines featuring both Jack's Abby and Springdale beers. The email also says that food items such as soups, salads, wraps, and soft pretzels will be offered as well.]
