Fasika is an offbeat place that includes a sedate, serene dining room on the left side (complete with traditional Ethiopian basket tables) and a raucous working-class bar full of Somerville townies on the right. The food at Fasika is cheap, fresh, and delicious, and compares favorably to Addis Red Sea, a critically acclaimed Ethiopian restaurant in the South End of Boston and Porter Square in Cambridge.
