Grecian Yearning Diner in Allston Heavily Damaged By Fire

The Grecian Yearning Diner, an Allston restaurant, was hit by a fire late this afternoon, causing extensive damage. The dining spot, which is located on Harvard Street in this busy Boston neighborhood, may be a total loss, according to one local news outlet.

The fire, which went to four alarms, resulted in heat-related injuries to two firefighters, according to the Boston Channel. Neither injury appears to be serious.

The Grecian Yearning has been a popular place for breakfast and takeout over the years, with college students frequenting the place partly because of their basic, inexpensive meals.
