Sports station WEEI is hosting a charity event at Da Vinci’s Ristorante in Boston on Thursday, December 11 to help raise money for Curt's Pitch for ALS, a program founded by Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling and his wife Shonda. Curt Schilling will be at the event, as well as WEEI morning hosts Dennis and Callahan.

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), which is also known as Lou Gehrig's disease, is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease. Curt’s Pitch for ALS was developed in 1993 to help ALS patients and their families. The program operates chapters in New England, Arizona, and Philadelphia.
