A classic old-school restaurant west of Boston has opened its doors once again. The Oregon Club, which closed this past winter after being in business since the 1930s, is now back in business, opening on Monday of this week, according to the MetroWest Daily News. The newspaper mentions that a former waitress of the restaurant as well as a former chef are now running the restaurant, which used to be a speakeasy.
The new menu at the Oregon Club includes such items as spicy mushroom soup, duck confit, baked brie, chicken livers, crab cakes, spinach salad, steaks, lemon-roasted chicken, pan-roasted cod, and pork chops. Prices for entrees are mostly between $15 and $25.
The address for this recently reopened dining spot is: The Oregon Club, 117 Oregon Road, Ashland, MA, 01721. The phone number is (508) 875-9030.
