A town just west of Boston that has traditionally had little in the way of options for Indian food now has an Indian restaurant right in the center of town. Lazziz Restaurant opened about a week ago on Main Street in Watertown, adding yet another option to the growing restaurant scene in Watertown Square. Located in a fairly small space that used to be home to La Casa De Pedro (a Venezuelan dining spot that now resides in the eastern part of town), Lazziz is open for lunch and dinner, and also features a weekend brunch.
The menu at Lazziz features a variety of traditional Indian dishes such as lentil soup, paratha, nan, sag panir, chicken tikka masala, goat curry, shrimp vindaloo, lamb kabab, and vegetable biryani. Beverages offered include a variety of lassi drinks, while desserts include rice pudding and mango ice cream. Prices for lunch entrees at Lazziz are mostly around $10, while prices for dinner entrees tend to be around $15.
The address for this new Indian dining spot in Watertown is: Lazziz Restaurant, 51 Main Street, Watertown, MA, 02472. The phone number is (617) 926-0002.
