A new European-style cafe recently opened in downtown Boston, offering breakfast, lunch, and (an early) dinner to folks in and around the northern edge of the Financial District near Quincy Market and Government Center. According to the restaurant's website, Aristo Cafe is a locally owned and operated eatery at the corner of State Street and Merchants Row (where Finagle-a-Bagel used to be) that features soups, salads, and hot and cold sandwiches. A few of the handcrafted sandwiches offered include chicken florentine, egg salad, smoked salmon, turkey and brie, prosciutto with melon, and ham and gruyere. The restaurant also has several breakfast sandwiches that can be ordered on ciabatta bread or a croissant. Prices for all items at Aristo Cafe are under $10.
Aristo Cafe opens for business at 6:30 AM on weekdays, 8:00 AM on Saturdays, and 9:00 AM on Sundays. The address is: Aristo Cafe, 92 State Street, Boston, MA, 02109. The phone number is (617) 391-0478. And the website is at: http://aristocafeboston.com/
