According to an article in the Braintree Forum and Wicked Local, Bickford's is looking to move into the space on Union Street where Capri Restaurant and Wine bar briefly existed last year before closing during the summer. Before Capri, a branch of Bickford's was located in that spot.
The article indicates that the board of license commissioners did approve a beer and wine restaurant license for Bickford's, but the issuance of the license depends on Bickford's supplying information to the board on its exact plans for the space. A Chowhound poster, however, has mentioned that a sign is up stating that Bickford's is indeed coming to the space, so it appears that this may be a done deal.
