A Korean restaurant in the Union Square neighborhood of Somerville that has been in business for more than 15 years has apparently closed its doors. According to both Where To Eat Boston and Yelp, Wu Chon House on Somerville Avenue closed over the weekend, and a check to confirm this has indicated that their website is indeed no longer operating.
Wu Chon House first opened in the early to mid-nineties, offering diners a variety of authentic Korean fare as well as a number of sushi options. Their menu included such items as vegetable dumpling soup, bi bim bab, broiled sardines, spicy kimchee, beef bulgoki, and stir-fried octopus.
Thanks to Citysearch Boston for initially bringing the closing of Wu Chon House in Somerville to our attention.
