Results of Our Twitter Onion Ring Poll

We have done several informal polls on the Twitter site over the past several weeks, including a hot dog poll (Spike's Junkyard Dogs won), a pizza poll (Santarpio's in East Boston), a burger poll (Mr. Bartley's Burger Cottage in Cambridge), and a lobster roll poll (Neptune Oysters in the North End). For our latest Twitter poll, we asked about best onion rings in the Boston area, with the results being as follows (and with a past winner winning once again):

1) Mr. Bartley's Burger Cottage, Cambridge (18%)
2) Crossroads Irish Pub, Back Bay (9%)
2) Doyle's, Jamaica Plain (9%)
2) Friendly Toast, Cambridge (9%)

A number of other places were picked in the Twitter onion ring poll, including Boston Burger Company (Somerville), Caswell's (Weymouth), Common Ground (Allston), Coolidge Corner Clubhouse (Brookline), Grille 705 (South End), Jerry Remy's Sports Bar and Grill (Fenway), Kelly's Roast Beef (various locations), Ken's NY Deli (Bedford), Kings Roast Beef (Salem). Parish Cafe (Back Bay and South End), Sidebar (Boston), and Trina's Starlite Lounge (Somerville).

Once again, thanks to everyone who has voted in our Twitter polls. We will have another poll within a week or two, so check back on our Twitter page at http://twitter.com/hiddenboston if you'd like to participate.
