A small group of French restaurants in and around Boston will soon have another location, with this one being in the Downtown Crossing section of the city.
According to the Boston Herald, the folks behind Petit Robert Bistro and Chez Jacky are going to be opening a new spot called Petit Robert Central on Arch Street, which is two blocks east of Washington Street on the western edge of the Financial District. The space they will be moving into is the former home of Vinalia, a restaurant, lounge, and wine bar that closed a few months ago. The Herald mentions that Petit Robert Central will be the largest of the five restaurants for the owners, with a capacity of 250. Once it opens later this summer, the eatery will serve lunch and dinner seven days a week.
Petit Robert Bistro currently has locations in the South End of Boston, Kenmore Square, and Needham. Chez Jacky, which is a new dining spot, is located in Brighton.
The address for this upcoming French restaurant in Downtown Crossing will be: Petit Robert Central, 101 Arch Street, Boston, MA, 02110.
[September 13 update: According to the Petit Robert Central Twitter page, the restaurant is now open for business.]
