According to the EveryBlock Boston site, a license has been issued for Cafe de Boston, which is looking to open at 75 Federal Street. This is where a location of Rebecca's Cafe used to be (Rebecca's has six other locations in Boston, one in Cambridge, and three in the suburbs that remain open).
There is no specific information available for Cafe de Boston at this point, though a poster on our Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook page mentions that the eatery may be opening in October.
The address for this new cafe in the Financial District is: Cafe de Boston, 75 Federal Street, Boston, MA, 02110. (This is at the corner of Franklin Street, one block west of Post Office Square.)
