A new Chinese restaurant has opened in Belmont, moving into the space where a Japanese and Chinese dining spot used to be.
According to a poster on the Chowhound site, Golden Garden is now open on Concord Avenue where Osaka resided from 2007 until recently (several other eateries have been in this spot as well over the past decade or two). The poster mentions that the menu at Golden Garden includes such dishes as dumplings, dan dan noodles, five-flavored beef, sauteed snail, dried chicken with chili sauce, and sauteed potato with sour sauce. Also mentioned is the fact that the menu has a Szechuan section as well.
The address for this new Chinese restaurant in Belmont is: Golden Garden, 63 Concord Avenue, Belmont, MA, 02478. (This is just west of the Cambridge line, just under a mile east of Belmont Center.)
