The North Star Opens Near Boston's North Station

A new restaurant and bar has opened near North Station and the TD Garden, moving into the space where another dining spot and watering hole used to be.

According to the UrbanDaddy site, The North Star soft-opened last night on Friend Street (about a block south of Causeway Street), featuring comfort food, beer, and eventually, entertainment. The North Star takes over the spot where DJ's at the Garden used to be until closing this past summer. UrbanDaddy mentions that a few items on the menu at The North Star include mussels, lobster macaroni and cheese, burgers, and cheese fries.

The people behind The North Star are the same folks who run The Good Life, which is located on Kingston Street on the western edge of Boston's Financial District.

The address for this new restaurant and bar near North Station is: The North Star, 222 Friend Street, Boston, MA, 02114.
