A seafood restaurant in Plymouth that was part of a small chain of New England eateries has closed its doors.
According to Wicked Local Plymouth, the Weathervane Seafood Restaurant at 6 Town Wharf shut down on Monday after being in business for approximately 12 years. The article mentions that the Chief Operating Officer of Weathervane cited economic conditions as a reason for its closing.
Based in Maine, the Weathervane Seafood Restaurant chain has most of their locations in that state and in New Hampshire, as well as one remaining spot in Massachusetts (Leominster). The restaurants feature an array of seafood dishes, as well as classic American fare including burgers, chicken, steaks, and pasta.
