Tossed to Open Five New Locations in the Boston Area

Last year, we reported that a small chain of quick-casual eateries that focuses on made-to-order salads had been looking at opening a second location in the Boston area. Now it looks like several new locations of Tossed may be on the way.

According to a PR Newswire press release, Tossed has signed franchise agreements for five new Boston spots. These new locations would join the single location currently open in Boston, which can be found at the Prudential Center in the Back Bay. The press release mentions that Tossed has signed franchise agreements in both Washington, DC, and California over the past year, and that its first location outside of the United States will open this summer in Vancouver, British Columbia.

In addition to salads, Tossed also features soups, sandwiches, cookies, and smoothies. The chain first started out in New York City in 1998, and now has locations in several states around the country.
