The person behind several Thai restaurants in the Boston area is going to be opening a new spot, with this one being on the North Shore.
According to The Salem News, Bangkok Pepper will open in Danvers, moving into the Purchase Street space where a KFC had been until closing last month. The article mentions that the owner of such restaurants as Spice Thai Cuisine in Cambridge's Harvard Square and Bangkok Express in Boston's Faneuil Hall is opening this new dining spot (the owner also runs Montien in the Theatre District of Boston). Once it opens (possibly in early September), Bangkok Pepper will have nearly 50 seats and an outdoor patio for the warmer months. The menu will likely be the same as that of Spice Thai Cuisine, according to The Salem News.
[October 26 update: According to the Danvers Patch, Bangkok Pepper is planning to officially open sometime next week.]
The address for this upcoming Thai restaurant in Danvers will be: Bangkok Pepper, 6 Purchase Street, Danvers, MA, 01923. (By the intersection of Route 128 and Route 35.)
