Saladworks to Open Three Locations in the Boston Area

Three years after first reporting on their interest in coming to the Boston area (and two years after opening a spot in Cambridge), a restaurant chain that features salads, soups, and sandwiches is planning to open three locations in the area.

According to a Business Wire article, Pennsylvania-based Saladworks has announced an agreement to open three stores in Boston over the coming three years. Once they open, the three Saladworks restaurants will join an existing location at the CambridgeSide Galleria in East Cambridge. Currently, the only other New England locations of Saladworks can be found in Trumbull, CT.

Saladworks, which first started out in 1986 in Cherry Hill, NJ, now has 100 locations in 12 states. Its menu features both create-your-own and signature salads, along with soups, fusion sandwiches, panini, and wraps. The chain's website can be found at http://www.saladworks.com/
