A restaurant that focuses on BBQ, handmade sandwiches, and more has just opened on the North Shore.
A note sent to us by Eat, Drink and Be Mommy indicates that Scratch Kitchen is now open on Derby Street in Salem. The restaurant, which is open for lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday, features sandwiches such as pulled pork (that can be ordered with a fried egg on top, by the way), shrimp po' boy, smoked brisket, house-made peanut butter, and various veggie sandwiches. Entrees such as mussels and lasagna are also offered at Scratch Kitchen, and beer and wine is available.
