A new restaurant and bar is coming to South Boston, moving into the space where a well-known neighborhood seafood spot used to be.
According to a poster on the Chowhound site (and confirmed via Yellowbook, Wolfie's Kitchen And Bar is looking to open on L Street (just south of East Broadway) in Southie, taking over the former Kelly's Landing spot. Kelly's Landing closed last October after being in business since 1927, originally being in the City Point section of the neighborhood until 1974, then on L Street starting in 2004. Little information on Wolfie's Kitchen and Bar is available at the present time, though the Chowhound poster did mention that the interior of the restaurant has looked like it has been ready for weeks, and a sign for Wolfie's went up over the weekend.
