A pastry business that has been involved in supplying parties and various events with baked goods since 2003 is opening a bricks-and-mortar store in Arlington Heights.
A post in the Arlington Advocate indicates that Angelina's Pastry is going to be opening on Mass. Ave. (in a strip of stores between the Forest Street and Appleton Street intersections), with the pastry maker's website confirming this. A check on the place this week shows that a sign for Angelina's is now up, though it is not open yet--the Advocate states that the shop should be opening sometime in September.

Based on the website for Angelina's, expect a variety of baked goods to be available, including pastries, pies, breads, cookies, cakes and gum paste flowers.
It appears that Angelina's will be open from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Saturday and 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Sundays, though you may want to call ahead in advance, just in case these hours change.
