A rapidly-growing chain of burger places continues to expand through the Boston area, and now it appears that the closest location yet to Boston proper is on the way.
According to the restaurant chain's website, Five Guys Burgers is planning to open at the Mystic Mall in Chelsea, which is less than three miles from downtown Boston. Once it opens, the new Five Guys Burgers in Chelsea will join a number of others in the area, including locations in Canton, Dedham, Foxborough, Framingham, Gloucester, Hanover, Marlborough, Medford, Natick, Randolph, Saugus, Stoneham, Swampscott, and Walpole. (Another location at Middlesex Commons in Burlington will soon be opening as well.)
There does not appear to be a specific opening date right now for the new Five Guys Burgers in Chelsea.
