A Mediterranean restaurant in Malden that has been in business for 16 years has closed its doors.
According to the Malden Patch, Tivoli's on Exchange Street is now shuttered, with a note on the door stating that the owners have decided to retire. The note also mentions that the restaurant may possibly open once again, as the owners are hoping to find someone to take over the business.
Tivoli's, which was located in the heart of downtown Malden, mostly featured a number of Mediterranean entrees that leaned toward French and Italian fare. Some of the items offered at the eatery included mussels, escargot, chicken piccata, seafood stew, steak, paella, duck, and seafood pasta.
