A North Shore restaurant that featured mostly seafood and sandwiches has apparently closed its doors.
According to several sources, including one of our readers and North Shore Dish, Black Cow Express in Salem is now shuttered--and a check on their website to confirm this indicates that their site is no longer operating. Black Cow Express first opened a little more than a year ago as J Quick Kitchen, changing to its present name this past winter. The restaurant's menu included such items as fish sandwiches, burgers, clam rolls, pulled pork, turkey clubs, and hot dogs. A KFC was in the Paradise Road spot before J Quick Kitchen/Black Cow Express moved in.
