A new Irish pub and restaurant has opened south of Boston, moving into the space where a few eateries have been over the past several years.
According to a poster on Chowhound, Hibernia Pub and Grille is now open on Route 138 in Easton, taking over the spot where The 402, Brennan's, and the Blackthorne Tavern had all been. An article in the Irish Pubs Global blog mentions that Hibernia offers Irish Pub type fare along with 30 beers on tap, with entertainment such as Quiz Nights and live music (including traditional Irish sessions). As with previous restaurants in the space, Hibernia has a working fireplace, and the place has 15 televisions.
The folks behind Hibernia also run the Catwalk Bar and Grille and Hibernia Irish Pub, both of which are in New Bedford.
The address for this new Irish pub in Easton is: Hibernia Pub and Grille, 402 Turnpike Street (Route 138), Easton, MA, 02333.
