42 Degrees North Is Opening in Manomet

A new restaurant is coming to a village of Plymouth, and the person behind it also happens to run a couple of dining spots near Boston.

The Manomet Current reports that town selectmen have approved a liquor license for 42 Degrees North, which is looking to open in the space on Route 3A where Foppiano's had been. The article mentions that Kevin Hynes, who runs the Inn At Bay Pointe in Quincy and Stockholders in Weymouth, will be the owner of the new restaurant. Kevin's son Eric will be managing the eatery, according to the Current.

[June 11 update: According to the Stockholders Facebook page, 42 Degrees North opens today.]

Our sister site (Boston's Hidden Restaurants) has featured Kevin Hynes' Inn at Bay Pointe on its site as an under-the-radar dining spot to try. A review of the place can be found at the link below:

The address for 42 Degrees North is: 42 Degrees North, 690 State Road, Plymouth, MA, 02360.

Thanks to one of our emailers for bringing this to our attention.
