A pizzeria with two locations in Boston is back down to one, as its Financial District branch has shuttered.
A call placed to the Newbury Street location of Bostone Pizza indicates that their Water Street restaurant is no longer in business, confirming a post from someone on the Chowhound site from yesterday. Bostone Pizza first opened on Water Street in June of 2010, becoming the second location of this pizzeria to open, with the Newbury Street shop first starting out in 2007. The Water Street restaurant was considered their "express" location and was only open on weekdays for lunch (the Newbury Street location is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week).
