RestaurantNews.com is reporting that 16 Handles plans to open on Beacon Street in Coolidge Corner in November, with the New York-based chain apparently looking to expand into other parts of the Boston area as well. 16 Handles is known in part for their lounge-style atmosphere along with their extensive toppings bar, with the shops offering 16 Kosher-certified flavors of self-serve frozen yogurt. Currently, there are approximately 25 locations of the chain, with most being in and around New York City.
