Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt to Open in Canton, Danvers, Somerville, Waltham, and Wayland

A few months ago, we reported that an Oklahoma-based chain of frozen yogurt shops was getting ready to expand throughout the Boston area with several stores planned. Now we have learned that even more locations are on the way.

According to their website, Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt is looking to open shops in Canton, Danvers, Somerville, Waltham, and Wayland, adding to a list of upcoming locations that already includes Belmont, Melrose, Newton, Reading, and Tewksbury [ed note: Tewksbury is now open]. So far, shops in Lexington, Marblehead, and Salem have opened--with other locations a bit further out now open in Newburyport and Seekonk. (The first Orange Leaf to open in Eastern Massachusetts can be found in Andover.)

[March 5, 2013 update: The Canton, Danvers, and Wayland locations of Orange Leaf are now open. Thanks to Dan Andelman of the Phantom Gourmet for bringing the opening of the Wayland shop to our attention (the other two openings were listed on the chain's website).]

Orange Leaf focuses on freshly-made frozen yogurt from fat-free milk, with a variety of flavors and toppings available. The website for the chain is at http://orangeleafyogurt.com/
