The Reserve (a Champagne Lounge) Is Opening within Boston's Langham Hotel

A champagne lounge is coming to a Boston hotel that is currently being renovated, and the lounge will also feature Boston's first traditional English tea service.

An email from the Langham Hotel on Franklin Street in the city's Financial District indicates that The Reserve will be opening as part of the hotel's renovations to its lobby. The European-style lounge will feature a New American and European-influenced menu that includes items such as house-smoked maple-cured salmon, deviled eggs, lobster salad sliders, croque monsieur, gazpacho, mozzarella pearls with tomatoes, frozen key lime souffle, and flourless chocolate cake, along with an array of champagne, wine and beer options. A continental breakfast will be offered as well, and a traditional Tiffin afternoon tea with servers professionally trained by Wedgwood ambassadors will include loose leaf teas and items such as house-made scones and pastries.

Renovations to the Langham Boston are expected to be finished around Labor Day weekend, so it is possible that The Reserve could be open at that time.

[September 7 update: UrbanDaddy reports that The Reserve is going to be opening on Monday, September 17.]

[September 18 update: The Reserve did not end up opening yesterday; now it looks like the place will not open until sometime next week, according to Eater Boston.]

[November 1 update: A recent email from the Langham Hotel indicates that The Reserve will be opening tomorrow.]

The address for this new hotel lounge (and the hotel itself) is 250 Franklin Street, Boston, MA, 02110. The website for the Langham Boston can be found at http://boston.langhamhotels.com/
