The Huffington Post is reporting that the Denver-based Wynkoop Brewing Company will be tapping its first keg of Rocky Mountain Oyster Stout on Monday, October 8, and yes, the beer is made with actual bull testicles. The brewer's blog mentions that the brew's ingredients include testicles that are sliced and roasted, then added to the beer's mash, with the drink having "a savory umami-like note."
The Wynkoop blog states that Rocky Mountain Oyster Stout is "7% ABV and has 3 BPBs. That's balls per barrel."
There is no word on when (or if) this beer will come to the Boston area.
