According to a post on its Facebook page, the West Roxbury location of Upper Crust is planning to close this Sunday (April 28) after being in business for just under four years. The note indicates that the folks behind the Centre Street eatery are apparently leaving the business in order to spend more time with family and possibly on other endeavors, and that a new restaurant will be moving into the space, though no other information has been given about the upcoming spot.

A number of Upper Crust locations shut down abruptly last November, with the shops being auctioned off a month later. Some of the stores have reopened, including locations in Boston's South End, Watertown, and Wellesley, while the Back Bay location was recently taken over by The Proper Slice--and the Harvard Square location soon becoming The Just Crust.
Gift cards for the West Roxbury location of Upper Crust will be honored at the six other UC locations, including Harvard Street in Brookline, according to the note.
