A check on the Stadium Sports Bar and Grill website earlier today indicated that the Waltham location was no longer shown on the site, and the group of eating and drinking spots has indeed confirmed that the Moody Street bar has been sold and is now called Playmakers Bar and Grill. A note on the Stadium's Facebook page shows that the team at the Waltham location continues to work at Playmakers, and that it is basically a change in ownership.
The Stadium Sports Bar and Grill first opened in Waltham in the winter of 2012, taking over the space where Robert's Restaurant and Bar had been. The three remaining locations in downtown Boston, South Boston, and Quincy remain open.
