DavidsTea to Open at The Street Chestnut Hill

A chain of tea shops based in Canada is continuing its expansion in the Boston area, with a new one planned for a redeveloped shopping area a few miles west of the city.

According to the website for The Street Chestnut Hill, DavidsTea is going to be opening within the open-air retail development (which had formerly been the Chestnut Hill Shopping Center). This will be the third location of the tea shop, with the first Boston-area location opening last fall on Washington Street in Downtown Crossing and its second opening earlier this year on Tremont Street in the South End. More may be on the way, as the chain had previously been looking at possible sites in the Back Bay as well.

Currently, most of the DavidsTea stores are in Canada, though locations can also be found in such places as New York City, Chicago, and San Francisco. The stores focus on premium loose leaf teas, including exclusive tea blends.

The address for this upcoming tea shop in Chestnut Hill is: DavidsTea, 55 Boylston Street, Chestnut Hill, MA, 02467. Their website can be found at http://www.davidstea.com/
