U-Me Restaurant and Lounge in Stoneham Has Closed

An Asian fusion restaurant a few miles north of Boston has closed, though it sounds like a new dining spot might eventually be moving into its space.

According to one of our readers, U-Me Restaurant and Lounge in Stoneham is no longer in business, and a phone call placed to the eatery has indeed confirmed that it has shuttered. The voicemail message mentions that a new restaurant will be opening there in a few months, with the emailer also saying that the folks behind Sato II in Stoneham could be behind it, though this has not yet been confirmed.

U-Me offered a mix of Asian fare on its menu, including Japanese, Korean, and Thai items.

The address for this now-closed Asian fusion spot in Stoneham was: U-Me Restaurant and Lounge, 19 Franklin Street, Stoneham, MA, 02180.

I heard through some credible sources that the owner of All Seasons Table in Malden is opening a new spot there.
