Highlights for the Week Ending August 9, 2013

A few more stories and articles centering on the Boston-area restaurant scene came out over the past week, including a popular food magazine including two Boston-area restaurants among its nominees for best new spots, the owner of a now-closed restaurant in Somerville planning to open a sandwich shop, and a nut shop in Watertown coming to Beacon Hill.
