Universal Hub is reporting (via a post from @ezrafreedman) that Select Cafe on Belgrade Avenue is shuttered, with a sign out front mentioning that miscellaneous equipment is for sale while the inside of the store apparently looks to be dismantled. The cafe first opened sometime during the winter of 2008/2009, replacing a location of Emack & Bolio's (though the eatery continued to sell some of their ice cream). In addition to offering ice cream, Select Cafe also had a full espresso bar.
According to UH, Select Cafe was "a daytime gathering spot for the neighborhood's Albanian men."
