The Restaurant Hub blog of The Boston Globe is reporting that Evelyn & Angel's Candy Shop on Mass. Ave. is planning to debut a cafe inside the store, possibly toward the latter part of next week. The article mentions that the cafe will include such items as pastries, coffee, and hot chocolate, and it will apparently be open evenings.
Evelyn & Angel's first opened in January of this year, taking over the space between Porter Square and Harvard Square where a gift shop and jewelry store called Topaz had been.
